Peliqan supports two types of apps that can be built and deployed on Peliqan infrastructure:

Peliqan Machines

Peliqan Machines allow you to host your vibe coded web apps on Peliqan. These VMs are the next generation deployment environment from Peliqan.

Compared to traditional Data Apps, vibe coded apps running on Peliqan Machines provide endless flexibility to build & deploy any type of app.

Deploying your vibe coded apps on Peliqan Machines

In Peliqan, in the left menu pane, go to Peliqan Machine:

Click on the button “+ New machine” in the right top corner. Enter a name and short description. Based on the description, Peliqan AI will scaffold a boilerplate web app.

Wait for the machine to be provisioned.

When the machine is ready, click on the button “Connect your agent” in the right top corner and follow the instructions:

Install the Peliqan CLI on your local computer
Sign in on Peliqan CLI with your Peliqan account
Connect to your Peliqan Machine
Download the instructions.md file for your coding agent (e.g. Claude Code).

The instructions.md file outlines the high-level sequence of operations for the agent to deploy your code, and it indicates where specific skill files are located within the generated base project files.

Vibe code your app in your favorite environment (e.g. using Claude Code) and make sure to instruct your agent to read and follow the instructions in instructions.md.

Ask your agent to deploy your app, it will use a secure SSH connection to your Peliqan Machine (using the peliqan CLI).

Preview app

You can preview your deployed app under “Preview”. You can copy the preview URL of your app and use it outside of Peliqan:

Browse files

You can see all deployed files of your project under “Code”.

Deployment logs

View the deployment logs for any errors.

Settings

Use Settings to e.g. restart your environment.

Publish to production

In order to make your app permanently available to users, you have to publish it to production, using the button “Publish to production” in the right top corner.

Peliqan as backend

Use Peliqan as the backend for your vibe coded apps, and allow multiple apps to share the same backend. Peliqan as a backend includes:

Authorization and authentication via Peliqan
Built-in Postgres database
Peliqan data warehouse (businesss data)
Peliqan writeback connectors (connect to your ERP, CRM…)

Data apps

Data Apps are low-code single file Python scripts, using Streamlit for the UI. These are an alternative to vibe coded web apps. More info:
