Trello - Getting started in Peliqan

Trello is a visual project management tool from Atlassian that uses boards, lists, and cards to organize tasks and workflows. It’s popular for its simple drag-and-drop interface, where teams (or individuals) can track projects, assign tasks, set due dates, and collaborate in real time. It’s flexible, you can use it for anything from software development and marketing campaigns to personal to-do lists.

This article provides an overview to get started with the Trello connector in Peliqan. Please contact support if you have any additional questions or remarks.

Connect Trello in Peliqan

Create an API key and Token in Trello:

  • Go the Trello Power Up Admin panel: https://trello.com/power-ups/admin
  • image
  • Click on the “New” button
  • Fill in the details:
    • Name: e.g. “Peliqan”
    • Workspace: choose a Trello workspace
    • Email and Support contact: fill in e.g. your own email
    • Author: fill in e.g. your own name
    • iFrame connector URL: leave blank
  • After creating the Power Up, click on the button “Generate new API key”

  • Copy the API key
  • Allowed origins: fill in https://oauth.peliqan.io and click on the “Add” button
  • Click on the link “Token” on the right hand side, next to the API key
  • On the next screen, click on the “Allow” button at the bottom

  • Copy the Token

  • Note: the app Secret is NOT used.

Add a Connection of type “Trello” in Peliqan and paste the API key and Token.
